Mend does the paperwork you take home. It writes the estimate, chases the follow‑up and finds the job you can’t remember the name of — then hands it to you to check. You approve. It types.

This is Mend. He works inside your account, not on a website somewhere.
The work that piles up after the last call of the day — and the work that quietly costs you jobs when it does not get done.
Tell Mend what the job is. It builds the estimate from your own saved line items at your own prices, puts the visit on the calendar and has it ready for you to read. The quote goes out tonight instead of Thursday.
“What did we quote the Riveras?” “Who still owes me?” “When was I last at that Clovis address?” Ask it the way you would ask a person. It answers from your records, not from the internet.
Plans, contracts, spec sheets, the scope someone emailed as a PDF. Mend reads them and pulls out what you asked for, so you are not scrolling a forty‑page set on a phone in a truck.
An assistant that can send things on its own is a liability. Mend drafts; you decide. These limits are built into the software, not just something we told the AI to do — so it cannot be talked out of them.
Mend can prepare an invoice, a payment request or a contract to sign. It cannot send one. Those wait in a list for you to tap, every single time.
Every email, text and quote is written and then held. Your client never receives a word you have not read first. Your customer only ever hears from you.
What a salesperson or a crew lead can see in the app is exactly what they can see through Mend. Asking the assistant is not a way around a permission.
Your records are locked with a key that belongs to your business alone. No other company on Amend can reach them, and neither can their assistant.
Your data is yours. Your clients, your prices, your margins and your notes are never used to train an AI — not ours, not Google’s. Mend reads your records to answer your question, and that is the end of it.
The AI itself is Google’s Gemini, running on Google Cloud. We say so plainly because a lot of software in this trade implies it invented the AI, and you deserve to know whose model is reading your files.
What we built is everything around it — the things Mend is allowed to touch, the limits it inherits from your team’s permissions, and the gates it cannot cross. That is the part that decides whether an assistant helps you or embarrasses you in front of a customer.
Any AI can look clever in a demo. The question that matters on a live job is what it does when it should say no. We test that on every release, and it has to pass before anything reaches your account.
We would rather tell you what is not finished than have you find out.
| Capability | Status | What that means |
|---|---|---|
| Mend in the app | Live | Ask it anything about your jobs, and let it draft the work. |
| Approvals & permissions | Live | Nothing sent or charged without you. Your crew’s limits apply here too. |
| Reading your documents | Live | Plans, contracts and PDFs in your Drive, read and summarised. | It holds a real conversation and always tells the caller it is an AI. It does not answer a phone number yet. | Quantities off your plans, with every line it is unsure about flagged rather than buried. |
Fourteen days on your own jobs, with your own clients and prices. No card to start, and nothing goes out to a customer unless you send it.

Your job records, your customers and your prices are the business. Mend is built so that data stays yours.
Your data is encrypted at rest and cryptographically isolated from every other company on Amend. One account can never read another's records.
Mend runs on Google Cloud (Vertex AI) under our own account. Your data is not used to train any model, ours or Google's.
Mend drafts. Anything that touches money or reaches a customer stops and waits for you to approve it. That is enforced in code, not left to the AI to decide.
