What is Amend?
Amend is a connected business platform for contractors and service businesses. It brings customers, leads, estimates, projects, schedules, files, invoices, payments and field work into one system, with Mend available to assist with routine office work.
How is Amend different from a basic CRM?
A basic CRM mainly tracks contacts and sales activity. Amend connects the customer record to estimating, project work, scheduling, documents, invoicing and payments, so the office and field can follow the same job from lead through final payment.
What types of businesses use Amend?
Amend is built for small and midsize contractors, construction companies, trades and field service businesses that want sales and operations in one system.
What is included in an Amend plan?
Current plans include client and lead management, pipeline and follow-ups, estimates and quotes, projects, scheduling and dispatch, inventory, Drive, analytics, field workflows, team roles, Amend Books and DocuMend electronic signatures. Plans differ by seats, Mend AI credits and storage. Optional add-ons or usage packs may cost extra.
What is Mend?
Mend is the AI assistant inside Amend. It can use the company records a signed-in user is permitted to access to find information, summarize activity and prepare work such as drafts. Model versions may change after testing without changing the contractor workflow.
Can Mend contact a customer or affect money automatically?
Consequential actions such as customer messages and financial changes wait for a person to review and approve them. The approval shows the proposed action before the supported action is carried out and recorded.
Does Amend work on phones and tablets?
Yes. The responsive web app works in a supported browser on phones, tablets and computers using the same account and company data. Amend will publish official App Store and Google Play links when native listings are publicly available.
How much does Amend cost?
Starter is $99 per month for up to 3 seats, 4,000 monthly Mend AI credits and 500 GB of Drive storage. Pro is $249 per month for up to 10 seats, 12,000 monthly credits and 1 TB. Business is $399 per month for up to 25 seats, 30,000 monthly credits and 2 TB. Annual billing provides 12 months for the cost of 10. Enterprise pricing is available for larger needs.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Amend offers a 14-day trial with no credit card required. Trial allowances apply. If the business selects a paid plan, the records entered during the trial stay with the account.
Are there fees beyond the subscription?
Optional add-ons, extra usage packs and third-party services can have separate prices. A supported payment provider may charge its normal processing fees. Amend does not add a percentage platform fee to the contractor's customer payment.
Who owns the data in Amend?
The customer retains ownership of its business data. Company records are logically separated and encrypted, and Amend does not sell customer data. Account controls support export and deletion. See the Security page and current legal terms for details.
Can I cancel or change plans?
Monthly plans are month-to-month. Customers can change plans as their needs change, subject to the current billing terms. Annual plans use the annual commitment and discounted price shown at purchase. Business data can be exported before account closure.
